How did we go from timer to the SHAON?

First, we cut the timer into two parts. Each part is presented in a case.

  • the part that should be accessible to you (settings and indicators)

  • the rest of the electrical circuits

The control box containing the settings and display attaches magnetically to the refrigerator door.

The other unit connects like an ordinary timer, or like an extension cord: the male plug to the wall, and the refrigerator to the female plug.

The two boxes are connected by clicking using a supplied RJ45 cable.

Here is a brief list of the changes

  • The manual/automatic switching button no longer exists on the SHAON! It can switch to automatic mode on its own for Shabbat and holidays, and return to manual mode during the week.

  • The small indicator light is replaced by two LEDs

  • The time and cut-off times are set digitally using the 3 buttons and the display.

The SHAON has many other advantages, you will discover them on the website.

How do you connect the SHAON? It's very simple!
